Scopely is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Star Trek Fleet Command team in the UK on a remote basis. Star Trek Fleet Command's ongoing success goes from strength to strength. Our in-house developed 4X MMO was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top grossing Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market. At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing, and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
Job Responsibilities
- Be the product owner for key monetisation and engagement initiatives across the live game.
- Drive the roadmap and execution of our monthly content releases, ensuring they are cohesive, compelling, and highly performant.
- Work cross-functionally with Game Design, Product Marketing, Product Ops, Economy Design, and Data Science teams to define, prioritise, and deliver exceptional player experiences that meet business and player goals.
- Own the content and performance strategy for our monthly releases, aligning them to player motivations, economic balance, and business KPIs.
- Define and manage the monthly content calendar, collaborating with Design, Production, and Engineering to deliver high-quality, on-time experiences.
- Use data and experimentation to optimise monetisation, engagement, and retention across a broad player lifecycle from new users to end-game whales.
- Work closely with the economy and systems design teams to ensure content aligns with long-term progression goals and avoids inflation.
- Partner with UX, Research, and Community teams to develop empathy for player sentiment and pain points, and translate them into actionable product improvements.
- Build business cases for major new initiatives and content verticals, including competitive research and revenue forecasting.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive experience in product management, ideally with significant responsibility on a F2P mobile game.
- Successful management of complex monetisation and engagement systems, with extensive experience in content development.
- Data-native mindset, with the ability to translate raw performance metrics into strategic insights and actionable plans.
- Strong player empathy and experience working with user research, community feedback, or other voice-of-player channels.
- Experience driving impact across cross-functional pods, including creative, design, and engineering teams.
