Overview
The role is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week) with a £1,750 allowance and a £5,000 car allowance. Location: supporting Scope shops in the London area. The role requires travel within this geographical area. You will work as a Shop Cover Manager (internal title: Divisional Support Lead) supporting multiple Scope shops in London, including Acton, Basildon, Bexleyheath, Camberwell, Camden, Clapham Junction, Dartford, Fulham, Ruislip, Surbiton, Tolworth, Walthamstow, and Woolwich.
This is an exciting role working closely with shop teams to enable trading when there is absence, maintain and improve day-to-day shop operations, and maximise sales and profit.
Responsibilities
- Provide cover for shops during periods of absence to ensure continuous trading.
- Support day-to-day shop operations and drive sales and profitability.
- Engage with shop teams to deliver a great customer and colleague experience.
- Generate and process stock, and contribute to visual merchandising and displays.
- Recruit, train and lead volunteers as part of the shop team.
About you / Qualifications
- Passion for retail and a love of fashion, with experience running a shop or seeking a management role as a next step.
- A commercial, can-do attitude with a focus on meeting customer needs.
- Ability to work well with different retail shop teams and volunteers; strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and a creative eye for displays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Shop hours
Scope Charity Shops are open every day. Some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is required. Full-time hours are 35 hours per week, five days out of seven. Part-time vacancies operate on a seven-day rota.
