Assistant Shop Manager β Scope's Gosforth shop
Fixed term 3 months, part-time 28 hours a week.
Location: Scope's Gosforth shop β Unit 29 Gosforth Shopping Centre, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 1JZ.
About the role
Make a real difference to the lives of disabled people by inspiring a team of brilliant volunteers and bringing creativity, flair and passion to a vibrant retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and process stock.
- Design an eye-catching window display.
- Recruit, train and motivate volunteers and the shop team.
- Deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the manager is absent.
About you
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Passionate about retail.
- Dedicated team player able to motivate and lead.
- Strong customer focus.
- Solid IT skills.
- Good attention to detail and a creative eye for shop displays.

Working hours
Scope Charity Shops are open every day. Some weekend and bank holiday cover is needed. Part-time hours are set on a seven-day rota.
