About the role:
- Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans within a male-only SIL setting
- Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support to male participants, promoting dignity, choice, and independence
- Demonstrated experience supporting participants with Behaviours of Concern (BOC) and epilepsy
- Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently
- Use calm communication and effective de-escalation techniques to manage behaviours of concern
- Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team
- Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift
- Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalence) is highly desirable
- Must be available to work all shifts listed in roster
- Full VIC Driver's Licence is required
