We are looking for a Junior Developer with 1-3 years commercial experience within a tech role to join a growing Fintech Client based in London. Good opportunity to be trained up within this position until ready to manage projects and clients independently.

Purpose and Duties

  • Shadow and assist members of the Technical and Client Operations teams across a range of areas eg development, deployment, hosting, security, business analysis, testing, etc.
  • Undertake training in applicable technologies, development methodologies and languages eg ColdFusion, JavaScript, etc.
  • Assist with analysis, development and delivery of solutions for processing of incoming data.
  • Assist with internal projects eg prototype work with Document AI, ISO27001 and compliance related assets, etc.
  • Bring a fresh pair of eyes to help shape the future direction of MGTL's products and associated tooling and materials.

Skills and Experience (preferred)

  • Graduate in a relevant area eg computing, mathematics, data science, technology, etc. or Junior Developer with 2 years' experience.
  • Some experience of operating systems (eg Windows, Linux, etc.) and applications (eg Excel, Word, Google Drive, etc.).
  • Some knowledge of application development technical terminology and techniques eg Back End, Front End, API, Version Control, Continuous Integration, etc.
