The role is fixed term (3 months), 35 hours a week at Scope’s Ilkley shop – 48 The Grove, Ilkley, LS29 9EE. As Shop Manager you will have the autonomy to run the shop, using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. You may generate and process stock, design eye‑catching window displays, recruit and train volunteers, and manage everyday challenges.

About you:

  • As Shop Manager you’ll be passionate about retail and have a love of fashion.
  • You should either have experience running a shop, or be looking for a management role as the next step in your career.
  • To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be commercial and focused on delivering the best customer experience.
  • Have a can‑do attitude and always put the customer’s needs first.
  • Be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Shop hours:

Scope Charity Shops are open every day. Some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is required. Our full‑time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part‑time vacancies are on a seven‑day rota.
