About the Company
We are hiring on behalf of a London-based project and cost management consultancy with an established pipeline of luxury retail, boutique hospitality and high-end residential projects for 2026. The consultancy delivers fit-out, refurbishment and premium interiors schemes for flagship brands, developers and private clients. Their work typically involves high-spec finishes, technical complexity, fast-paced coordination and detailed client-facing delivery. Due to continued project wins, they are looking to meet Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors across multiple experience levels.
Role Overview
You will support and lead projects across:
- Luxury retail fit-outs (flagship stores, brand roll-outs, experiential retail)
- Boutique hospitality and hotels (restaurants, bars, boutique hotel refurbishments)
- Prime and super-prime residential schemes
Projects typically range from £500k to £15m+.
Responsibilities (Project Management)
- Managing the full project lifecycle from concept to completion
- Client representation, stakeholder management and progress reporting
- Programming, sequencing and coordination of design and construction teams
- Running design team meetings, progress meetings and risk reviews
- Procurement planning and tender management
- Contract administration under JCT (Minor Works, Intermediate, D&B and Traditional)
- Ensuring quality control and delivery of premium-level finishes
- Managing fast-track fit-out programmes
- Working closely with designers, architects and specialist trades
Responsibilities (Quantity Surveying / Cost Management)
- Cost planning, feasibility studies and benchmarking
- Pre-contract estimating and preparation of BoQs and pricing schedules
- Managing procurement and tender evaluations
- JCT contract administration (Traditional and Design & Build)
- Valuations, variations, financial reporting and final accounts
- Supplier negotiation and value engineering
- Monitoring budgets and ensuring cost certainty
- Collaborating with PM teams, designers and specialist contractors
Requirements
Technical Experience
- Experience working under JCT contracts
- Background in fit-out, refurbishment, interiors or design-led construction
- Strong understanding of sequencing, quality control and premium finishes
- Experience in procurement, tendering and contract administration
- Ability to coordinate designers, landlords, contractors and client-side stakeholders
Sector Experience (any of the following):
- Luxury retail
- Hospitality (restaurants, hotels, bars)
- High-end residential / super-prime
- Commercial interiors (CAT A / CAT B)
- Specialist fit-out and joinery environments
Personal Attributes
- Confident client-facing communication
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Able to deliver in fast-paced, detail-heavy environments
- Proactive, organised and solutions-focused
- Collaborative working approach
