We’re working with a high-scale consumer platform operating at serious transaction volume, building mission-critical payments infrastructure used by hundreds of thousands of users daily. This team ships to production every day, keeps bureaucracy low, and expects engineers to own systems end to end. What you’ll work on:
- Building and scaling core payments infrastructure in Rust
- Payment orchestration across bank rails and cards (idempotent APIs, webhooks)
- Double-entry ledgers and reconciliation pipelines
- Real-time risk decisioning under tight latency constraints
- Event-driven, fault-tolerant distributed systems handling real transaction volume
- Reliability tooling: retries, circuit breakers, SLOs, monitoring and alerting

- Strong Rust experience in production (systems, backend, or infra)
- Background in payments, fintech, or financial systems
