Investment Bank Python Engineer – AWS – DevOps – Kubernetes – Terraform – CI/CD – Sonarqube

The candidate will join the Platform Engineering team, a group of highly skilled engineers who partner with the firm’s development, support, and infrastructure groups to solve engineering problems that cut across different product streams.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES ASSESSMENT

1. Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar.
2. Strong knowledge of Python programming.
3. Familiarity with containerisation technologies (eg Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
5. Experience with VCS systems (we use GitLab) and CI/CD tools (eg GitLab CI).
6. Skills in Machine Learning engineering.
7. Understanding of how to use REST APIs and build integration with other tools.

The following are not required, but would help your application:

1. Previous work with Real Time systems (trading or event-driven applications).
2. Experience with cloud platforms (eg, AWS).
3. Experience with developer tooling (eg IDEs, Nexus, Sonarqube).
