*Infrastructure Engineer - Contract
Location: Hybrid - Edinburgh, Leeds or Manchester | 2 days per week on-site
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong exposure to F5 and networking technologies to join a specialist infrastructure delivery team within a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test and maintain F5 BIG-IP solutions.
- Work across LTM, GTM/DNS, APM and AWAF.
- Support infrastructure across private and public cloud environments.
- Develop and integrate automation using Python, Jenkins and GitHub.
- Work with AppViewX ADC+, DO and AS3.
- Contribute to CI/CD and Agile delivery using tools such as Jira.
- Troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues.
Essential Experience
- Proven Infrastructure Engineering experience in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking, IP routing, Firewalls and security.
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Understanding of cloud architectures, CaaS, IaaS and traditional data centres.
- Experience with automation and enterprise integrations, particularly Python.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good understanding of operational resilience and security.
