The Role
As Account Director, you will lead a selection of key client relationships and ensure the successful delivery of projects from brief through to completion. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, collaborate closely with creative and digital teams, and manage timelines, budgets and expectations with confidence and clarity. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves what they do, someone who brings enthusiasm, initiative and rigour to every brief. Someone looking to step up from Senior Account Manager or moving from their first Account Director-level grounding. The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and passionate about delivering work that makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of multiple client accounts, ensuring delivery is always on brief, on time, and on budget.
- Write, develop and communicate clear project briefs to internal teams.
- Oversee all aspects of project management, including estimating, scheduling and invoicing.
- Present creative work with confidence, often alongside senior leadership.
- Support new business development within existing accounts by identifying and nurturing growth opportunities.
- Manage financial performance and forecast revenue from your client base.
- Work as part of a tight-knit senior team to shape client strategy and ensure exceptional standards of delivery.
About You
- Around 7 years' experience in a similar design/branding agency environment.
- A strong understanding of both brand and digital communications, particularly corporate website creation and corporate brand roll-out.
- Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal.
- Able to confidently present to senior stakeholders and lead client conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines and project profitability.
- Passionate, proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative – you bring real energy to your work and your team.
- A keen eye for creative work and a strong appreciation of effective design.
