The Role: Team Leader (itsu) - FULL TIME
As a Team Leader, you'll work closely with the management team to run smooth, efficient shifts. You'll support the team in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, helping them deliver the exceptional food quality and customer service that itsu is known for - all while leading by example and living our values.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & People
- Lead your team on shift, supporting smooth operations and a positive working environment
- Support and coach new Team Members to help them grow in confidence
- Deliver team briefings and support training across food prep, customer service, and hygiene
- Step up confidently in the absence of a manager when needed
- Promote the 4 itsu qualities and ensure a safe, inclusive, high-energy workplace
- Service & Hospitality
- Support your team in delivering the 6 Hospitality Steps and exceeding Mystery Shopper expectations
- Manage queues, handle service issues quickly, and always lead with a customer-first mindset
- Keep displays, dining areas, and FOH presentation to brand standards
- Maintain smooth delivery and collection service with drivers and digital customers
- Food, Safety & Quality
- Ensure high standards of food safety and health & safety (5FSF, 5FQF, FIFO, DDD)
- Monitor quality and ensure all food is prepped Correct to Recipe (CTR)
- Keep cleanliness standards high by following CATC and CAYG procedures
- Support management with food safety compliance and 5-star EHO outcomes
- Operations & Efficiency
- Help maintain productivity across kitchen and front-of-house
- Assist with waste tracking and reduction
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly
- Help implement and uphold shop processes and itsu standards (as per 'How To' guides)
