Lead the kitchen. Feed the city. We're looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager who lives and breathes great food — someone who takes pride in every plate, leads a tight-knit team and keeps the heart of our restaurant beating.

The role is built around four things:

  • People — Build a skilled, passionate kitchen crew. You'll coach, train and develop every chef and food pro, creating a team that genuinely cares about what they make.
  • Hospitality — Great food is hospitality. You'll make sure the kitchen delivers beautiful, consistent food from open to close — because every customer deserves their best bite.
  • Quality — You're the guardian of our recipes, our standards and our kitchen. Correct-to-recipe, food safe, spotlessly clean — no compromises.
  • Profitability — From prep planning to portioning, ordering to waste, you'll run a smart, efficient kitchen that never sacrifices quality for cost.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Running the kitchen day to day — production, prep, service and close.
  • Making sure every dish leaves the kitchen exactly as it should, every time.
  • Owning the production plan and adjusting it to hit availability without piling up waste.
  • Ordering ingredients smartly to keep the kitchen stocked and waste low.
  • Leading on food safety — FIFO, date codes, due diligence and a 5-star EHO rating as the standard.
  • Developing your team through hands-on training, regular 1-2-1s and real progression pathways.
  • Smashing mystery shopper scores with consistently brilliant food and kitchen standards.
  • Keeping a kitchen so clean it gleams — CATC and CAYG are second nature to you.

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Gets a buzz from a fast, well-run kitchen.
  • Holds the standard even when it's busy and the pressure is on.
  • Takes real pride in the food that goes out — every single order.
  • Spots what needs fixing and just sorts it.

Ready to take the pass? Join Scoffs - Itsu and run a kitchen worth talking about.
