As a key player in our UK & Ireland business, you\’ll lead the development and integration of a brand-new Market Strategy & Planning (MS&P) function, shaping the future of our commercial strategy. Key responsibilities of our Market Strategy & Planning Manager: Lead commercial performance of UK & Ireland distributors, delivering on sales, ROI, and market share targets Establish and lead a new function for long-term market strategy, planning, and performance tracking Develop and execute commercial strategies across pricing, distribution, and promotions Build and manage senior relationships with partners and key accounts to align on brand and market goals Collaborate across Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure aligned planning and execution Represent commercial strategy at key customer meetings and Brand Days Coach and grow a high-performing team with strong development plans and accountability Monitor market trends, evaluate promotions, and drive revenue and range optimisation What we’re looking for in our Market Strategy & Planning Manager: Experience you\’ll bring Proven experience in Senior National Account Management or Market Strategy & Planning, ideally within FMCG and distributor-led models. 10+ years of commercial experience with major UK/Ireland suppliers or distributors. Strong understanding of customer planning tools, trade spend management, and promotional mechanics. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and influencing at senior levels. Proven people management experience and good coaching skills. Experience in building or leading strategic planning functions is highly desirable. Behaviors you\’ll need Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies and compelling commercial narratives. Strong people management skills with a track record of developing talent and driving team performance. Tenacity to navigate complex negotiations and deliver against ambitious targets. Comfortable leading new initiatives and embedding new ways of working across teams.
