The role
As Associate Director, Strategy at Sciterion, you will be responsible for building and growing a robust strategic offer for our medical affairs/medical communications business across all of 3 business units.
Your strategic knowledge and expertise will shape, inform and develop strong strategic workstreams across priority clients with diverse needs providing data driven solutions to business challenges.
You will inspire colleagues and clients alike, challenge thinking and work in collaboration with client and scientific leads to ensure deliverables are strategically relevant & differentiating, leading to impactful behaviour change in clinical practice.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide strategic direction in close alignment to scientific objectives and client strategy. As a true partner, building enduring relationships with our clients is fundamental to how we work; your role will be to build trust and credibility to further enhance this approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Intimately understand client products, therapy areas and scientific/commercial strategy and confidently liaise with clients to propose solutions and opportunities that will deliver measurable ROI
- Champion the data driven approach – research and gather data to develop well-informed insights that form the basis of a plan to achieve identified goals
- Define and deliver clear strategy to address a business challenge across identified key accounts in partnership with the scientific and client services team.
- Develop and facilitate strategic workshops in partnership with client service and scientific services teams
- Develop awareness of HAVAS tools, frameworks and methodologies to understand what can be leveraged in the med affairs/med comms space, while remaining aware/flexible to client specific frameworks
- Liaise with externally commissioned market research vendors on methodology and stimuli that fulfil identified strategy, where necessary
- Keep up-to-date with market knowledge (e.g. competitive, technology) and proactively advise the client on new issues and the external environment
- Work with the scientific services team to ensure broader team understanding of the client strategy to enable its successful integration across deliverables
- Work with client service and scientific services teams to drive uptake of the Havas CONVERGED data driven approach to projects
- Drive the development of the strategic offer within Sciterion in collaboration with the ELT (Exec Leadership Team) and the SLT (Senior Leadership Team)
