Ekium, part of Groupe Snef, is a leading international engineering, consultancy and project delivery business operating across the energy, industry, marine, technology and infrastructure sectors. We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development & Sales Manager to lead growth across our UK nuclear and renewable energy operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding our customer base, developing strategic partnerships and driving sustainable revenue growth within two of the UK's most important energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development and sales activities across Ekium's consultancy, design, construction and compliance services.
- Develop new customer relationships while expanding opportunities within existing accounts.
- Build, maintain and convert a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Identify market trends, customer needs and routes to market within the nuclear and renewable energy sectors.
- Lead customer meetings, presentations, proposals and tender submissions.
- Work closely with UK and international colleagues to develop integrated client solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and sales reporting.
- Represent Ekium at industry events, conferences and networking activities.
Qualifications
- Proven business development and sales experience within the UK nuclear and/or renewable energy sectors.
- Strong track record of winning new business and delivering profitable growth.
- Excellent relationship-building, networking and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially focused with experience managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
- Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- Consultative, customer-focused and solutions-led approach.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
- Degree qualified in engineering, science or a related discipline.
- Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Technical background within nuclear, mechanical, electrical or related engineering disciplines.
