Headhunter specialising in the Dry Lab of Drug Discovery, Development and Diagnostics, accelerating innovation in purpose driven Biotechs. I am thrilled to have partnered with a leading Machine Learning Biotech, pioneering the development of next generation antibodies for Oncology. This well-funded London based Biotech is at the forefront of AI-driven drug discovery.

They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical direction, mentorship, and delivery of production grade software, accelerating their renowned platform that integrates advanced machine learning and protein engineering. You will lead and architect the development of their platform in partnership with data scientists, collaborate with wider wet lab scientists and champion the continuous improvement of the team and their software. The software team is central to innovation, building tools that enable and accelerate scientific discovery.

The ideal candidate will bring with them:

  • LIMs
  • Google Cloud Platform and cloud infrastructure development with Terraform/IaC
  • A track record of mentoring and developing other engineers
  • A strong scientific foundation or experience within a similar environment

We are looking for a collaborative, open minded and passionate individual, who enjoys knowledge-sharing and bringing innovation to software architecture. This role is 3 days a week onsite in London, with a competitive package.
