SciPro is supporting a global Biotech translating breakthrough genetic discoveries into life-changing therapies, with a strong track record across rare disease and complex drug development. They have a number of approved medicines on the market, and an industry-leading pipeline across investigational, pre-clinical and clinical candidates.
They’re hiring a Senior Manager or Associate Director of Quantitative Science to join a highly respected Biostatistics and Data Science team working across research, development, translational, and clinical programmes. This is a hands-on, influential role applying statistical and data science across drug discovery, experimental medicine, clinical development, and real-world evidence.
The ideal profile combines a strong grounding in biostatistics with curiosity and adaptability - someone open to working across both traditional and less conventional areas, from patient-centred outcomes and biomarkers through to RWE, simulation, and emerging AI/ML applications.
Your background:
- PhD/MSc + 7+ years in Pharma, Biotech or CRO industrial experience
- Strong programming skills in SAS, R or Python - hands-on skills are essential
- Strong study design, sample size, and applied statistical expertise
- Comfortable collaborating across research, clinical, and post-approval teams
- Curious, solution-oriented, and keen to influence beyond a single function
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and mentor
