SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical engineering function across a fleet of Energy from Waste power stations. This is a senior engineering role focused on supporting mechanical plant performance, engineering standards, reliability and continuous improvement across multiple EfW facilities.
The successful candidate will provide expert technical guidance to site teams, support the delivery of mechanical engineering projects, and play a key role in ensuring plant is operated and maintained safely, efficiently and in line with statutory, environmental and operational requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer from an EfW, power generation, utilities, heavy process or similar industrial background to take on a fleet-wide role with real technical influence.
The role will involve:
- Delivering mechanical engineering projects and improvement works across the EfW fleet
- Developing, implementing and maintaining fleet-wide mechanical engineering standards
- Providing technical support and practical solutions for complex site-based mechanical issues
