SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join the maintenance department of an energy from waste power station near Gloucester. This role focuses on delivering safe, reliable mechanical maintenance across the plant, supporting availability, efficiency and long-term asset performance. The successful candidate will work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure all mechanical equipment is maintained to a high standard.

The role will involve:

  • Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on rotating and static plant equipment
  • Maintenance and overhaul of pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors and associated systems
  • Carrying out fault-finding, defect rectification and first-line repairs
  • Completing maintenance activities in line with site procedures, permits and isolation requirements
  • Updating maintenance records and work orders
