SCINERGY Recruitment are looking for several Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technicians with an electrical bias to join a biomass power-generation facility near Lincoln, Lincolnshire. Working as part of the maintenance and production team, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repair and improve plant equipment, support commissioning activities and help maximise safety, reliability, quality and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across the plant to minimise downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults on industrial equipment.
  • Respond safely and effectively to production breakdowns and identify potential failures before they occur.
  • Service and maintain conveyors, pellet presses, hammer mills, dryers, motors, drives, gearboxes, pumps, valves, fans and associated equipment.
  • Support PLC fault-finding across automated production systems.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately and assist with engineering spares and consumables.
