CHP Shift Operators – Renewable Energy £42,000 – £45,000 + benefits Lincoln, Lincolnshire SCINERGY Recruitment are looking for a number of Shift Operators / CHP Operators to join a biomass power-generation facility near Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
The site converts recovered wood chip into renewable energy and reusable wood products, helping to reduce landfill waste and provide an alternative to finite fossil fuels.
Working as part of the operations team, you will operate and monitor the boiler plant and associated equipment, ensuring the facility performs safely, efficiently and in line with its operational and environmental targets.
You will also act as an Authorised Person and support the Senior Authorised Person with plant safety and operational duties.
Key responsibilities Operate and monitor the boiler, superheater and associated auxiliary equipment through the central control-room system Carry out routine plant inspections, respond to alarms and make operational adjustments to maintain safe and efficient performance Support plant start-ups, shutdowns and isolations in accordance with site procedures Monitor pumps, conveyors, water-treatment equipment and other balance-of-plant systems Act as an Authorised Person, supporting permit-to-work, ...
