We are currently looking for a Field Service Engine Technician to join a well-established business within the energy sector, supporting a number of green energy power generation sites across Bath, Bristol, Trowbridge and Glastonbury. This is a great opportunity for someone with an engine-orientated background who is open to a field-based role involving fault finding, servicing and overhauls on power generation equipment. Full training will be provided, but experience with engines is essential.
The Role:
- Supporting the general maintenance and upkeep of engine-based power generation equipment
- Assisting with fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical and basic electrical systems
- Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and minor repairs
- Supporting larger maintenance tasks and engine overhauls
- Attending breakdowns and helping return equipment to service
- Completing basic service reports and job notes
- Managing tools, parts, and general van stock
- Working across multiple sites in the local area
