SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting for an EC&I Technician to join the maintenance team at a renewable energy power station near Attleborough in Norfolk. This role focuses on delivering safe, reliable electrical, control and instrumentation maintenance across the plant, supporting availability, efficiency and long-term asset integrity. You will work closely with operations, mechanical and engineering teams to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The role will involve:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance of electrical, control and instrumentation systems
  • Fault-finding, diagnosis and repair of instrumentation, control panels, motors, switchgear and field devices
  • Supporting maintenance of DCS / HMI, SCADA and plant control systems
  • Instrument calibration, testing and verification (including safety critical devices)
  • Supporting CEMS, emissions monitoring and compliance systems
  • Managing and updating maintenance activities within the CMMS
  • Supervising specialist contractors and reviewing RAMS
  • Supporting outages, shutdowns and plant modifications
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance and housekeeping

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A recognised EC&I or electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / ONC / C&G or equivalent)
  • Experience within an industrial or process environment such as biomass, power generation, CHP or EfW
  • Strong hands-on experience with fault-finding, maintenance and calibration of EC&I systems
  • Understanding of permit-to-work, isolation and safe systems of work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary site team
