We are seeking an experienced electrically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a renewable energy plant in the Cowdenbeath area. As the Multi Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for pre-planned and reactive maintenance on all electrical and mechanical plant around the facility to ensure maximum plant availability and minimal downtime.
The Role:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets including HV/LV equipment, motors, generators, pumps, PLCs, and associated systems.
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting to reduce downtime and maintain plant availability.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise performance and efficiency.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
About You:
- Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering plus relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent).
- Experience within power generation, heavy industrial, or similar engineering environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with motors, drives, switchgear, pumps, and electrical fault-finding.
- Basic mechanical understanding is beneficial.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and safety-conscious.
