We work on highly novel and unique enzyme systems that enable cell-free and co-factor free carbon-chain functionalisations unlocking sustainable feedstocks for a broad range of industries. We deploy cutting edge AI guided enzyme design to create novel functionality and industrially viable biocatalysts.
The Role
Scindo is looking for a highly driven and talented research scientist to work with an exciting project at the forefront of biomanufacturing, based at Scindo\βs lab in central London. The position will be responsible for enzyme expression, optimisation, and DSP.
The candidate must have an exceptional academic background in a relevant field with a strong understanding of expression optimisation, different organisms and constructs.
Essential Criteria
- MSc / PhD in relevant field β alternatively significant industry experience.
- Experience in enzyme expression optimisation
- Experience in work up techniques
- Experience in DSP & purification techniques
