As Senior People Manager, you will support the following areas of responsibility:

· Lead the People team to support the full employee lifecycle from attraction, recruitment, retention and off-boarding.

· Support the People Partner to drive an effective hiring and onboarding plan to attract and engage top talent.

· Design and implement strategies, frameworks, and processes across the People function to establish SciLeads as an internal centre of excellence and an externally recognised great place to work.

· Manage the company\’s compliance with external stakeholders across our operational jurisdiction (UK, NI and Canada) ensuring we have the relevant policies, compliance, and documentation in place.

· Work In partnership with business leaders to develop and implement a Performance Management and Career Development framework so that people develop their performance and grow their performance.

· Planning and benchmarking reward, recognition, and benefits to ensure our team are rewarded and incentivised.

· Promote and continue to shape the positive culture across the fully remote team as the business scales.

· Suggest and Implement processes and tools to continually increase the efficiency of the People team.

· Support the People & Culture Coordinator in the ongoing management of People tasks

About You:

· You have at least 4 years of experience working in Human Resources

· Data driven approach – You are comfortable collating, tracking and reporting data to assist with making informed decisions across the employee lifecycle

· A strong understanding of communicating with global teams, talent markets with awareness and sensitivity to various cultural sensibilities

· Hands-on experience across core People priorities: recruitment, onboarding, performance, compensation and benefits, organisational design and development, strategic resource planning, wellbeing, communications and engagement

· Thrive in the details, striving for organisation and completion in everything you do

· Have experience with various modern software tools such as Slack, etc.

· Enjoy building out systems and workflows that are efficient and transparent

· Are incredibly organised, detail-oriented, and known for follow-through

· A Bachelor\’s degree with 2:1 or higher in a Human Resource or other People related discipline.
