An award winning Market Access Consultancy (HEOR), renowned for their creativity and innovation, are looking for an experienced Modeller with a strong background in de novo modelling to join them in a senior strategic position as Principal Health Economist (modeller). The Health Economics Modelling Team The Health Economics Modelling team are experts in creating intuitive scientifically robust and clinically appropriate models. They are the team clients come to when they require specialist modelling expertise. They excel across all model types, and are recognised experts In creating new (de novo) models which translate complex problems clearly and transparently. The Role As a Principal Health Economist (Modeller), you will provide leadership, guidance, and oversight in shaping of projects within the Health Economics team, including the design and development of models, model adaptations, data input sourcing, model protocols and technical report development. Working with teams across the business, the Principal Health Economist contributes initiatives to improve ways of working and business development. The work is structured on a project-by-project basis, and you will be expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously in different disease areas focused on complex or strategically important projects. You will work in project teams alongside less experienced colleagues and will provide one-to-one training in the technical aspects of the role, including project management and effective client communication. You will take responsibility for the quality and delivery of written deliverables and for efficient, high quality project execution on both health economic and cross-collaborative projects. Delivering project work requires close collaboration with clients, and you will be expected to participate and lead virtual and face-to-face meetings with external stakeholders where you will be expected to contribute ideas and solutions resulting in successful project delivery To be considered for the role of Principal Health Economist (Modeller) you require the following: Education: A Bachelors degree of above in economics, mathematics or other relevant discipline. Experience: Relevant working experience in a market access or HEOR consultancy or experience developing de novo models to support decision making for similar applications. Relevant project management experience Demonstrable experience in business development Growing experience in building client partnerships Line management and leadership experience Skills: Critical thinking Strategic planning Empathetic leadership skills Effective delegation Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organisational capabilities Excellent command of the English Language Proficient in Excel/VBA.
