Scientific Games is the global leader in lottery games, sports betting and technology, and the partner of choice for government lotteries. We are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Inspector to work within our busy Security Quality testing Lab on a continental shift pattern. Full consideration will be given to those looking to work on a part-time, job share basis.

The role involves:

  • Performing a variety of tests on our printed product to ensure it meets the required quality and security standards
  • Using a wide range of testing equipment to perform the standard tests within the required timescales
  • Inputting results onto the computer database and producing reports
  • Providing feedback on test results to the Press team
  • Cleaning, maintaining and checking the Lab equipment

The successful applicant must have:

  • Experience of working within a quality testing department in a high-volume, fast moving manufacturing environment
  • Experience of Quality testing techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work on your own initiative & make important decisions
  • Positive attitude and approach with the drive to see activities through to their conclusion
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of business
  • IT literate (MS Office)

This position involves working a Continental Shift pattern (which will include working 12-hour shifts on weekends and nights for the full-time position) of on average, 39 hours per week. The part-time role will involve working 12-hour day shifts, which will include weekends and will total, on average, 19.5 hours per week.

As part of the role you will be expected to work overtime, at the appropriate pay rates, for holiday cover, sickness cover and standard overtime shifts – this ongoing flexibility is an essential requirement.

There is a competitive salary of £33,827.10 per annum (full-time) / £16,913.54 per annum (part-time) plus generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme with a company match of 6% of pensionable salary and free onsite car parking.
