Position Summary

  • Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership & Business Ownership
  • P&L responsibility for the assigned jurisdiction across all SG product lines (Instant Products & Services, Systems, Retail, Digital)
  • Develops and maintains both a short and long-range strategic account plan focused on growth and profitability
  • Drives jurisdiction-specific growth strategies across all verticals with a holistic approach
  • Shapes and executes RFP strategies, incl. pre-planning, win strategies and internal alignment
  • Understands lottery market specific requirements and the competitive landscape
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for customers across all SG product lines
  • Builds and maintains strong, trustful relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
  • Sales & Solution Development
  • Understands customer challenges and aligns SG’s offering to exceed lottery business goals
  • Positions SG product solutions and understands how they interconnect to deliver maximum value to customers; presents concepts and product ideas to his customers
  • Identifies, creates and qualifies opportunities for new, cross-sell and upsell solutions
  • Delivers consultative, value-based proposals and tailored solutions
  • Leads the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal negotiation to contract signature
  • Collaborates in the analysis and continuous development of our product portfolios
  • Internal Collaboration & Project Execution
  • Coordinates with all relevant internal teams: PreSales, Sales Experts, Solutions Architects, Strategic planning, Finance, Technology, GR, Legal, HR
  • Brings in subject matter experts as needed to support customer goals
  • Monitors project delivery and alignment with customer expectations
  • Financial, Data & Operational Acumen
  • Owns the P&L for each of his accounts
  • Runs, verifies and audits sales projections and monthly forecasts
  • Provides data-driven insights and recommendations to customers; leads development of business cases with financial justifications and ROI
  • Understands market trends, customer KPIs, and regulatory needs

Your profile:

  • University degree (technical or business); MBA is a plus
  • Experience in the IT or Gaming/Lottery environment; international and corporate experience is an advantage
  • Experience managing large customer accounts, driving revenue growth and profitability through strategic management
  • Ideally, proven experience in selling SaaS products and digital technology solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to turn a no into a yes — showing persistence and creativity in influencing customers
  • Ability to operate with a senior-level mindset — strategic yet hands-on; self-motivated and driven by outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills; able to deliver dynamic presentations, internally and externally
  • Strong interest in discovering and meeting customer needs; proven ability to navigate difficult customer conversations while maintaining best interests for all parties
  • Must understand the financial picture of any deal; knows how to close deals to achieve company goals while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Structured, precise, solution-oriented thinking; enthusiasm for sophisticated technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills; strong work ethic and perseverance in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
  • Excellent language skills in English; additional languages considered an advantage; comfortable in various cultural environments
  • Willingness to travel on business trips (up to 50% of working time)
