Maritime Executive (Port Security & ISPS Compliance)
As a Maritime Security Executive / Senior Executive, you will work closely with government agencies, port operators, and industry stakeholders to uphold international security standards, support national maritime security initiatives, and enhance the security readiness of Singapore's port facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and enforcement of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code across Singapore's port and terminal facilities.
- Conduct security compliance and licensing audits to ensure adherence to international and national maritime security requirements.
- Work closely with port operators, shipping companies, government agencies, and national security partners to strengthen port security measures.
- Collaborate with the Information Fusion Centre (IFC), ReCAAP, and internal stakeholders to support initiatives aimed at reducing sea robbery incidents within the Straits of Malacca and Singapore (SOMS).
- Monitor and review existing security measures, identify potential vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Support the adoption of technology-driven solutions to improve security monitoring, resource optimisation, and early anomaly detection.
- Assist in the administration and regulation of Regional Ferry Services operations to ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Participate in incident management, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Singapore's maritime security framework.

Requirements
- Degree in Maritime Studies, Security Studies, Engineering, Logistics, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related discipline.
- Experience in maritime operations, port security, shipping, law enforcement, defence, regulatory compliance, or risk management will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess operational risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple agencies and industry partners.
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
Location: Alexandra
Working hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
