Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance enterprise Java applications, including change requests, bug fixes, performance optimisation, and system stability improvements.
- Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Conduct impact assessments for system changes and ensure minimal disruption to live environments.
- Implement security fixes from code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Support system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and contribute to modernisation initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Min. 4 years of experience supporting and maintaining enterprise systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience working in production environments.
- Hands‑on experience with React, Java (preferably Java 8), Spring Framework, and Oracle WebLogic.
- Experience with Oracle/Sybase databases and legacy Java web technologies (JSP, JSTL, Struts/JSF, jQuery).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, version control (Git/SVN), and authentication integrations (LDAP/AD/SiteMinder).
