This is an exciting opportunity for apassionate and patient ‑focused Registered Nurse to play a key role indelivering high quality‑ care beyond the traditional hospital setting.

As a Specialist Nurse, you’ll support patientsin their own homes, helping to facilitate early discharge from hospital andprevent unnecessary admissions, while delivering safe, effective, andcompassionate care.

You’ll work as part of a supportive multi‑disciplinaryteam, making a real difference to patient outcomes and experiences every day.

This role will see you working 37.5 hours perweek over 5 days (including occasional weekends) and will cover Torquay and surrounding areas, so being confident on the road is a must.

What you’llbe doing

  • Delivering high quality‑ nursing care to patients in their homeenvironment
  • Safely administering a range of therapeutic interventions
  • Undertaking clinical assessments and making independent clinicaldecisions
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Identifying, reporting, and escalating risks and incidents in linewith organisational and hospital based‑ processes
  • Supporting patient safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensurecoordinated, patient‑ centred‑ care

Who we’relooking for

We’re looking for a motivated andcompassionate nurse who is confident working autonomously while remaining astrong team player.

You’ll need:

  • RGN (Part 1) on the NMC Register
  • Experience in an acute care setting, including making independentclinical decisions
  • Experience undertaking clinical assessments and administering sub‑cutaneousinjections.
  • Experience caring for IV devices and administering IV therapies
  • Full UK drivers licence

You’ll be someone who:

  • Has excellent communication skills and can put patients at ease
  • Pays close attention to detail and follows protocols and proceduresconsistently
  • Is adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changing servicedemands
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of therapies and medications.
