Our team within the Midlands are seeking a registered Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver high-quality oncology care, support patients through their treatment journey, and contribute to the development of the field-based clinical workforce. This role is a unique blend of hands-on patient care and clinical development.
You’ll work directly with patients receiving chemotherapy while also supporting and developing other clinicians—helping to raise standards, build confidence, and embed best practice across services. Working autonomously you will administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments as defined in the patient's care plan, whilst sustaining professional standards. You will see 1-6 patients per day, record all clinical data and document any adverse drug events via the correct protocol, and build long-lasting relationships with patients, carers and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery.
A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel throughout the regional area covering Northamptonshire.

Key skills and qualifications
- Be registered with the NMC
- Hold a chemotherapy delivery qualification – preferably a SACT passport
- Be experienced administering oncology medications in a hospital or community setting
- Be confident in clinical assessment, IV administration, chemotherapy delivery, cannulation, and phlebotomy
- Passionate about person-centred care and supporting others
