We have an opportunity for a registered pharmacist to join us within Burton. You will be part of an ambitious team, responsible for the clinical validation of prescriptions, audit participation and providing virtual support to our patients. By being an expert in all aspects of medicine use, regulatory legislation and homecare pharmacy processes, you will be able to offer professional insights which will contribute to the continuous development of our service and enhance the patient journey.
This is a full-time hybrid position within our Burton site, with limited weekend working. You will undertake the role of responsible pharmacist on a rotational basis and have flexibility with additional on-site presence. The pharmacist role here at Sciensus will allow you to:
- Learn and develop your oncology medication knowledge
- Utilise your NMP qualification
- Have increased pharma engagement
- Educate the wider team
- Have no line manager responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to really shape your role and contribute to the success of Sciensus.
What is required? In addition to being a great clinician, you will need to demonstrate strong therapy knowledge and have experience within a community or hospital environment. Further success in this position will require someone who is confident in sharing their expertise, has a willingness to learn and can build robust stakeholder relationships. It is essential for this role that you hold a MPharm degree or equivalent and are registered with the GPhC. Holding an Independent Prescriber (IP) would be an advantage.
