Children\’s Nurse
By joining us as a Children’s Nurse you will not only deliver high‑quality care but also be the face of Sciensus, providing holistic one‑to‑one care within patients’ homes.
You will be part of an ambitious team, empowering each child by offering personalised support. Based in Cardiff, you will travel throughout the region, delivering specialist treatment and making a real difference in people’s lives every day.
Responsibilities
- Offer quality nursing tailored to each child’s needs, ensuring professional standards are surpassed and relevant care plans delivered.
- Administer IV therapies, including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, Crohn’s disease and psoriasis.
- Manage your own daily workload while maintaining stock, supplies and equipment.
- Record all clinical data accurately and report any adverse events via the correct protocol.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge, address gaps in clinical competency and stay compliant with all business policies and procedures.
- Travel to patients’ homes across the region; a full UK driving licence is essential.
