By joining us as a Children’s Nurse you will not only be delivering high quality care, but you will also be the face of Sciensus with increased job satisfaction, by being able to give holistic one to one care within the patient’s own home. You will be part of an ambitious team, empowering each patient by offering personalised support. While based in Glasgow, you will be expected to travel to Northern Ireland to help support the team there on an ad hoc basis. You will travel throughout a regional area, delivering specialist treatment and making a real difference in people’s lives every day.

You will offer quality nursing that is tailored to the child’s needs, ensuring all professional standards are excelled and relevant care plans are delivered. You will be treating patients with a wide range of conditions including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, Crohn’s disease and psoriasis. Manage your own daily workload whilst maintaining stock, supplies and equipment. All clinical data will be recorded accurately to ensure quality care is maintained and delivered, and any adverse effects reported via the correct protocol. Maintain and demonstrate up to date knowledge, ensuring any gaps in clinical competency are addressed whilst also staying compliant with all business policies and procedures.
