As a Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a vital role in keeping the flow of medicines and medical products running smoothly and compliantly within our homecare service. You will manage orders and monitor stock, support strategic procurement decisions, ensuring continuity of care for thousands of patients. You will work with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and Category Specialists to keep everything moving efficiently, accurately, and safely.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing MRP outputs to validate requirements and highlight exceptions
- Processing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve supply issues
- Supporting demand planning and forecasting aligned to patient needs
- Resolving supplier invoice queries to ensure accurate billing and timely payments
- Assisting Category Specialists with procurement strategy, supplier evaluations, and cost-saving initiatives
- Maintaining accurate documentation aligned with GDP and MHRA standards
- Keeping departmental SOPs up to date and compliant
Qualifications
- Previous Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain (healthcare/pharma preferred)
- Understanding of GDP/MHRA regulations or experience in a regulated environment
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft D365 ideal)
- Experience working with MRP systems
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization
- Strong communication skills for working cross-functionally
- A commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety
