As a Clinical Logistics Delivery Driver here at Sciensus you will be the face of our organisation—supporting patients, hospitals, and pharmacies with the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of life‑critical medicines and equipment. You’ll be responsible for providing a professional, reliable, and compliant delivery service across a regional area. This includes:
- Completing temperature‑controlled multi‑drop deliveries of highly sensitive medical products.
- Collecting items from patients’ homes, including clinical waste and returned equipment.
- Working to time‑critical deadlines and setting delivery schedules.
- Ensuring every item is accurately scanned and tracked at every point of handling.
- Maintaining accurate driver and vehicle records.
- Conducting vehicle safety checks daily and reporting defects promptly.
- Following the required Proof of Delivery and Failure Management processes.
- Reporting any roadside checks to the Transport Manager.
Being part of a small, dedicated team, you will report into the depot manager at Avonmouth, and be the bridge between the patients and their treatment, making a positive impact every day! This is a part‑time position working 10hrs on a Saturday with the shift starting from 5am. A typical day will see you delivering between 20 – 50 life changing medicines to patients within the Bristol and surrounding areas.
