As a Logistics Night Shift Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring medicines and clinical supplies move efficiently through our distribution network—helping us deliver a reliable, high‑quality service when it matters most. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of our Clinical Logistics operation, supporting overnight depot activities to keep everything running smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with maintenance scheduling and compliance management across the distribution centre.
- Managing driver manifests (printed and electronic) and maintaining trunking logs.
- Monitoring driver attendance, reporting late/no shows, and supporting replacement arrangements.
- Unloading and reloading trunk vehicles, ensuring all consignments are accurately counted and recorded.
- Sorting, scanning, and organising parcels and returns for onward delivery.
- Handling returned items, including sharps bins, and ensuring correct storage processes are followed.
- Ensuring all depot documentation is completed and returned correctly.
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment across all depot areas.
Who We’re Looking For
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- Flexible and reliable, with a proactive approach to supporting overnight operations.
