Here at Sciensus, our compounding unit is seeking an operative to join our 5th Avenue site on a temp to perm basis. By joining us as a unit operator, you will be involved in the aseptic manufacturing of medical products that are supplied to our patients and customers. Following good manufacturing practices, your daily tasks will include inspecting, labelling and packing finished products, ensuring adequate stock is available and identifying discrepancies. Throughout this process, you will follow a strict sterile regime which requires continued PPE changes and wipe‑downs of all surfaces. These are full‑time roles based in our Centrum 100 Site, Burton on Trent, working 40 hours per week on the following rotational shifts:
- Week 1 – 6am – 2pm, Mon‑Fri
- Week 2 – 1pm – 9pm, Mon – Thu and 11am – 7pm, Fri
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, label, pack finished products and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure adequate stock and identify any discrepancies.
- Maintain a strict sterile regime, including regular PPE changes and surface wipe‑downs.
Qualifications:
- Positive working attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously in a stringent regulatory environment.
- Flexibility to cover all working patterns.
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or hospital setting is an advantage.
Due to the sterile nature of this role, we are unable to employ anyone with ongoing skin conditions.
