The Company
Our client is an innovator in the renewable energy sector and are seeking an experienced Project Management Professional to join their team, to lead diverse and exciting renewable energy projects.
The Role
A Project Manager professional, ideally with an electrical engineering background, you will lead the project managers and commissioning engineers across a portfolio of renewable energy projects, including storage and energy provision.
You will develop and execute the plan, track the milestones and ensure a successful outcome.
As Head of Projects you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects throughout the project lifecycle
You will lead the collaboration with internal colleagues, namely sales and the operational delivery team and will be pivotal in the client relationship and communication.
You will oversee project budgeting and cost control.
As Head of Projects you will ensure comprehensive project reporting and documentation.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering discipline and be working in a Project Management role.
You will have experience of leading complex renewable energy project and programmes, have contract/commercial awareness and be experienced in managing risks, and change control across the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidates will be customer focused, passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy.
- You will also be able to effectively communicate with and manage multidisciplinary teams, including design aspects.
They should be able to demonstrate good commercial skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work under pressure and complete within deadlines.
