The Role : Project Delivery Manager – Engineering
Location: London (hybrid)
Salary Banding : £85k – £100k + benefits
The Company
Our client is an innovator in the renewable energy sector and are seeking an experienced Project Management Professional to lead a small team of engineers and engineering project managers across a portfolio of diverse and exciting renewable energy projects.
The Role
As Programme Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of a diverse portfolio of energy projects.
This is a pivotal leadership role where delivery excellence, people development, and energy innovation come together to create real impact.
You will lead, build and develop a multi-disciplinary delivery team mixture of engineering disciplines.
You will oversee and lead on programme wide planning, prioritisation and execution of projects that are safely delivered on time and within budget.
As Project Delivery lead you will develop and refine procurement and contracting strategies.
As Programme Delivery Manager you will ensure a safety first culture across all projects.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree ideally in Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
You will have proven success in senior project management within and across the renewable energy sector.
You will have experience of managing project budgets and programmes, have contract/commercial awareness and be experienced in managing risks, and change control across the project lifecycle.
You will have experience managing a team, including performance management, mentoring and workload balancing with a passion for nurturing high-performance.
The ideal candidate will be customer focused and passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy.
You will be confident in dealing with clients at senior levels and managing stakeholder dynamics being solution focussed and resilient.
You will have commercial acumen, including understanding of budget control, margin, and contract obligations
You will be calm, pragmatic and structured under pressure
You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment with a hands-on approach
