An opportunity has arisen for 2 junior development chemists to join a well-established organisation base in the southeast of London.
Reporting directly to the Technical Support Manager/R&D Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum two years' laboratory experience
- Experience with use of lab equipment such as: FTIR, rheometer, tensometer, impactor and cathodic disbondment testers.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Teams, and similar software).
- Experience managing projects and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data and prepare clear technical reports.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Flexible, proactive, and willing to undertake further training.
Key Responsibilities
- Work safely at all times, following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining good laboratory housekeeping.
- Comply with company management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and support the Environmental Management System.
