Maintenance Engineer job opportunity for a leading materials manufacturer based in the West Yorkshire area.

Company: Rapidly growing, family-owned manufacturing organisation, which is bucking the trend in the construction materials market and is continuing to grow rapidly.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:15pm, Friday 7am to 12:30pm (some flexibility in hours is available)

You will be involved in

  • Maintaining and repairing plant machinery and facility equipment.
  • Ensuring efficient operation of machinery and looking at planned preventative maintenance (PPM - scheduling).
  • Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Ensuring electrical compliance along with manufacturing, HSE and environmental compliance (ISO9001/45001/14001).
  • Where required, work with external contractors on upgrades and modifications.

What do you need to be considered?

You will need

  • Strong background in Mechanical and Electrical engineering from a manufacturing environment.
  • Qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of PPM and OEE and continuous improvement.
  • Experience of working in ISO9001/14001/45001 compliant environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
