A job opportunity for a Quality Manager at a growing multinational consumer products designer and manufacturer in North Lancashire.
Company: A multinational toys designer and manufacturer, established for over 50 years, working with some of the most iconic brands worldwide.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm

Location: Lancashire. (This is a site-based role and does not offer hybrid working currently.)
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Up to £50k, depending on your skills and experience.
What will you be doing?
- Ensuring products comply with UK and European safety directives (EN71, UKCA, CE, etc).
- Working with designers and manufacturers to ensure that quality standards are met and resolving any customer queries or complaints.
- Looking at sustainability and environmental impact in relation to ISO14001, GRS and FSC standards.
- Implementing new safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Ensuring that all products have been laboratory tested to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
What do you need to be considered?
- Qualifications in Science or Engineering with knowledge of product safety.
- Working knowledge of ISO standards and ideally EN71 or UKCA, CE standards.
- Experience of quality management systems (CAPAs, NCRs etc) and continuous improvement.
- Experience dealing with customers (retailers) on product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
