Quality Engineer for leading Chemical and Materials Manufacturer - West Yorkshire

Do you have a QA/QC background with a desire to develop your career? If YES this is the opportunity for you!

Company: Progressive multinational Chemical and Materials manufacturer with excellent reputation in the marketplace. The company has a passion for new technology development, continuous improvement and sustainability.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (typically 8am to 4.30pm, but can be flexible around this).

Location: West Yorkshire

Duration: Permanent position.

Salary: Up to £42k (depending on your skills and experience)

You will be involved in:

  • Quality investigations (RCA, CAPA).
  • Provide plant support with Non-conformances and working with R&D to find appropriate solutions.
  • Reporting quality measurements against KPIs and internal auditing.
  • Collating and reviewing data to make improvements to site operations and quality.
  • Look at and implementing continuous improvement activities across the site, running your own projects.

What do you need to be considered?

  • Science or engineering qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of Quality systems (CAPA, NCR, RCA, internal auditing).
  • Excellent team working experience.
  • Knowledge of Continuous improvement - lean & six sigma principles in relation to problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
