Maintenance Engineer job opportunity for a leading materials manufacturer based in the West Yorkshire area.

Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:15pm, Friday 7am to 12:30pm (some flexibility in hours is available) Why join?

Salary:
up to £42k (depending on your skills and experience) You will be involved in: Maintaining and repairing plant machinery and facility equipment.

Ensuring efficient operation of machinery and looking at planned preventative maintenance (PPM - scheduling).

Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Ensuring electrical compliance along with manufacturing, HSE and environmental compliance (ISO9001/45001/14001).

Where required, work with external contractors on upgrades and modifications.

What do you need to be considered?

You will need: Strong background in Mechanical and Electrical engineering from a manufacturing environment.

Qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.

Knowledge of PPM and OEE and continuous improvement.

Experience of working in ISO9001/14001/45001 compliant environments.
