About the Role
We are seeking an animal facility technician to join the team at the Manaaki Whenua‑Landcare Research Animal Facility to help care for captive wild‑caught and laboratory animals. The position involves the daily care of animals (feeding and cleaning) on weekends and public holidays, including the Christmas period. It is a permanent, part‑time role (4–6 hours per week) based at our Lincoln site.
About You
This role requires a diligent, responsible person comfortable carrying out daily husbandry tasks for multiple animal species. You will have experience working with animals and an interest in animal research, animal care, and pest control.
