We are now looking for a permanent Head of People to join us on a full-time basis based at the Science Museum in London.
About the role
As Head of People, your role will support SMG in its objective to build resilience as an organisation for the long term through effective workforce management, building capability and enhancing performance across the organisation. You will be responsible for leading people partnering and strategic projects across the People function. In collaboration with the broader People & Culture leadership team, you will create a positive employee experience for our colleagues while also offering people partnering to senior stakeholders as needed.
About you
Joining us, you will bring extensive HR generalist experience, knowledgeable across multiple disciplines within HR including reward and recognition, workforce planning and complex employee relations issues. You will bring up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and will have direct experience of guiding the performance of individuals and wider teams, supported by an inclusive, collaborative and flexible approach.
As Head of People, you will be a credible leader with experience of implementing and promoting inclusion and diversity in practice professionally or personally. You will be a skilled communicator; able to connect effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
